Yesterday was a new first for us in the Ipswich Spy team – we topped 2,000 hits as people sought the results of the Suffolk Police & Crime Commissioner results. We also managed to get the news out to the public before the traditional media, including the Ipswich Star, the BBC and our great friends at Town 102.
We don’t claim to be read widely in Ipswich, not even the busiest blog, but we feel rightly proud of the work we have done over the last three years to turn this site into one of the first places people turn to for Ipswich political news.
We are always on the look out for new recruits to our team, and right now are especially keen to get extra authors from Labour and the Lib Dems, as well as a Green or Independent voice. If you’re interested, contact us on ipswichspy@gmail.com.
Thank you to all our readers, without you we would be a tree falling in the woods.
The Ipswich Spy Team.
